When I read the QOD ... my first thought was what brand of beer is on tap on board.
After reading the possible answers, I had to go with the one that ended up being correct,

I call it 'keep on taking the tablets and all be okay. Col
I call it my 'Senior's Moment'.
Around here we just call it SOMETIMERS. (sometimes I remember, some🤒times I forget)
On thinking further about the doorway effect, or brain wipe as I call it. It is not all bad! Some years ago I came in from the shed, sorry workshop, and in to the house and my mind went blank. So, I opened my laptop to seek solace, as you do, and did my usual search for model yachts.
Great was my acclaim when I found 2 almost identical models totally misidentified. They were beautifully made 32 inch hulls built by someone with a seeking mind as just the keel weights were different with a flush cast weight with the keel and the other with a torpedo shape. I would imagine to see the differences when sailing.
His expertise did not extend above deck and the sails would never have proved anything. It was a trip to Salisbury to purchase them, so far one is in sail and works very well the other is having some more thought poured over it.
There is always a silver lining somewhere!

To stop this you have to go back outside (at this point I would get out the dice and try to throw a 6!) and then retreat back where you came from until the brain finds the correct pathway and eureka the lost word appears! To preserve this word keep shouting it out loud and to prevent security being called get out your phone and stick near your ear. Try and get through the doorway and try and look like you know what you are doing.

If spelling is an issue, date formats can be very confusing, especially when just using month numbers - what is 7-12-26? December 7th or July 12th? Sometimes, these can actually cause financial losses if the date is read wrong - spelling can be confusing and cause some fun issues - date can be dangerous.
